Installation and talk
Quintus Miller, architect trained at the ETH in Zurich, founded the architecture firm Miller & Maranta with Paola Maranta in Basel in 1990. At the Planetarium, he presents a walk around an “unusual constellation” of fragments, spaces, materials and sounds. This allows the visitor to discover a topography of architectural thought, through recollections and experiences, and to understand the surprising ability of architecture to form and transmit unexpected associations. For the occasion, composer and percussionist Fritz Hauser joins the architect giving voice to the objects and weaving the levels of interpretation of both music and rythm.
