FRANCESCO LIBETTA

Classical and electronic music

The New York Times described him as an “aristocratic poet of the keyboard, with the profile and bearing of a Renaissance prince”. His fame was consolidated by monumental complete performances of Beethoven, Händel, Chopin and Godowsky. At the Baths of Diocletian he will show that the piano, created three hundred years ago, is revealing a vast new potential thanks to technology, without modifying any of the concepts that generated the artistic coherence of the masterpieces from the classical repertoire included in the programme.
